App Overload!

I am so mad at Apple for this! You want to know what this is? Apple has set a crazy limitation for at least the iPod touch and most likely the iPhone. You can only install 9 pages of apps! This is crazy! You should be able to install all of the apps that you can fit onto the device. I wouldn’t be so upset about this except for the fact that they make it so hard to delete apps that you have. I am so annoyed at this. I am surely going to send Apple an email about this. Be sure to tell your friends about this and remember to send your suggestions to theR...@gmail.com

Podcast of the Week: this WEEK in TECH

imageThis WEEK in TECH(TWiT) is a podcast that is definitely on my must-listen list every week. TWiT is a panel podcast that talks about the tech news of the week. This podcast is always hosted by Leo Laporte. He is the only regular on the panel but John C. Dvorak is on the show very regularly. TWiT has a great community behind it and you can watch a live video stream of TWiT, called TWiT Live, at http://live.twit.tv. TWiT recording is streamed on Sunday at 3 PM Pacific, 6 PM Eastern. TWiT belongs to a netcast network called TWiT.tv. The TWiT network has live streaming all week and reruns when Leo isn’t live. Again, you can find the TWiT.tv netcast network at http://twit.tv and the live streams are available at http://live.twit.tv. And remember to send your podcast of the week suggestions to theR...@gmail.com (no attachments please)

Website of the Week: Pixlr.com

Hello and welcome to the SACGS Website of the Week. This week’s pick is Pixlr.com. This link lets you go straight into the editor. What is Pixlr? Pixlr is an image editor, very similar to Adobe Photoshop, but it is completely online. It has a very easy to use interface, especially if you are familiar to Photoshop. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs to do some quick photo editing for any computer connected to the internet. Here are some images of Pixlr.com:

Podcast Pick of the Week: Tekzilla

Tekzilla from Revision3 is one of my podcasts that I listen to weekly. Tekzilla is hosted by Patrick Norton and Veronica Belmont and episodes are released weekly. This podcast is mostly listener powered as the podcast is based off of questions sent in by listeners. This should definitely be on the podcast list of every geek out there. There are also daily tips that are released on weekdays. Disclaimer: This podcast is not completely family friendly but most things are edited out.

New Sections of SACGS: Picks of the Week

Here at SACGS, we always want to have new content. An easy way to do this I believe that we would have picks of different things each week. Some examples of picks would be podcasts, applications, web sites, tips, and other tech things. SACGS is now ready to give at least one pick every week to keep the content coming. Of course, this doesn’t apply if we are on vacation or something. Thanks again for reading SACGS. Send emails for suggestions to theR...@gmail.com
